School Closure Update - Thursday 19th March 2020

School Closure Update

19th March 6:15 pm

Well, what an amazing day we have had at Silver Springs! If you have not yet seen the coverage online, it appears that doing our bit to bring some positivity to our neighbours has led us, rather unexpectedly, to be internet sensations!

Thank you to all parents who have responded to our Key Worker Survey - I encourage everyone to do so as this will help us with our preparations for next week. Sadly, we have not yet had clarification on this matter from the Government. We will be in direct contact with parents to whom this applies before 3 pm tomorrow.

"Continuation of Learning" Packs are ready to go out tomorrow for children who are in school. We will be in touch with families, who are not in school at present tomorrow (Friday) morning on how and when we are distributing packs.

We will inform all eligible parents directly, as soon as we have confirmed details of our Free School Meals arrangements. Please bear with us on this as we provide twice as many Free School Meals than the average school, so you can imagine - this is a logistical nightmare!

Thank you for all your messages of support, especially about the singing! It really does make a difference. Thank you for your continued patience. I am confident that many if not all of your questions will be answered by the end of the school day tomorrow!

Keep Well and Keep safe.
