Christmas 2017 Dummy Drop!
Talking Together are encouraging as many children and families as possible to drop the dummy this Christmas and give it to Santa!
There will be a three week long campaign on the Talking Together Facebook page starting on Monday 27th November 2017 to support families to get rid of the dummy. There will be lots of information about why this important, ideas to reduce use and printable star charts / letters from Santa about giving their dummy to the Elf babies to support children.
You might like to hang them on your Christmas tree as decorations, hang them on the antlers of a reindeer or make a Santa post-box to send them off to the baby Elves!
On the 18th December there will be a Christmas Rhyme Time at each of the Tameside children's centres where there will be Christmas singing and Santa will draw a name to win a selection of toys in time for Christmas. These toys will be specially chosen to promote language.
